On Friday May 30th, Warrior Service Scholars, an active community service club at Schroeder, had their second annual Day of Caring. The purpose of this event was to beautify and spread positivity around Schroeder. The Warrior Service Scholars did this through cleaning up the greenspace at Schroeder and planting new flowers on campus. An additional event connected to Day of Caring, the Pollinator Garden, is happening Thursday, June 5th. During this event, Warrior Service Scholars are partnering with Seneca Park Zoo and the UPK kids at Schroeder to plant a pollinator garden on campus. If you are interested in joining Warrior Service Scholars next year to be a part of the planning process of community service events, email Mrs. Cooper at [email protected] or Mrs. Petzing at [email protected] for more information.
